The Detective Branch team of Dhaka, team led by assistant
commissioner Rayhan, arrested Panna at a rented house on Chinu Miah Road
about 12:30am. Subinspector Robiul Islam traced the whereabouts of the
teacher accused of the crime that has triggered wide protests.
His four associates–Alimuzzaman Tutul, executive engineer of Islamic
University, Kushtia Jubo League leader Monirul Islam, Dulal Hossain,
assistant engineer of LGED in Jessore, and Shariful Islam Sajal,
assistant engineer of Gangni upazila LGED, were also involved in the
illicit acts at the house, locals said, adding that the culprits
recorded the obscene scenes by hidden video camera and later released
these on Internet and mobile phones.
The video footages were recently released on the internet and mobile
phones which created commotion among students, their guardians and the
locals.
Several thousand residents of Barkhada and students of Barkhada Ideal
High School along with their guardians took to the street on Sunday
morning and formed a human chain on Kushtia-Iswadi highway to press home
their demand.
At one stage, they attacked the school and local union parishad and
beat some teachers, members of school managing committee and the UP
secretary. The angry mob also vandalised the house of assistant teacher
Aladat Hossain.
Kushtia police subinspector M Monirul Islam on July 7 filed a case

and takes hundreds of snaps at different angles before chopping and editing the

He said: “I use friends and models
but they want to remain anonymous.
“I just use a single person per
